北京市昌河耐火材料厂是国内专业生产不定形耐火材料的厂家之一，地处风景秀丽的京北开发区，毗邻十三陵长城、航空博物馆等著名风景区。占地50000平方米，固定资产2500万元，职工300余人。其中专业技术人员35名，高级专家6人，并与鞍山焦耐院、北京冶金建筑材料研究总院、武汉科技大学等单位建立了长期稳定的合作关系。
我厂技术力量雄厚、工艺先进、设备精良，年产耐火材料20000吨。主要生产各种牌号的浇注料、耐火泥、捣打料、喷涂料、喷补料、焦炉炉盖密封料、预制件共六大类近三十余种产品。并设有不定形耐火材料分厂、耐火砖分厂、喷补机制造加工厂、高温煅烧合成材料分厂。
近年来，我厂自主研制，开发了新一代高炉出铁沟浇注料、捣打料；焦炉系列喷补机、喷补料；焦炉系列耐火泥浆；环保型焦炉炉盖密封料等产品。先后在首钢、唐钢、马钢、宣钢、济钢、莱钢、湘钢、新兴铸管、天铁等钢铁企业推广使用，质量稳定可靠，得到了用户的一致好评。我厂连续五年被评为北京“重合同 守信用”单位。并在2002年通过了ISO9001:2000国际质量体系认证。
